What We Do

This role sits within our Dating vertical the Dating Framework (DF) is the powerhouse behind two of our most distinctive apps: POPCORN and FET. These multi-platform products are designed for alternative lifestyles and open-minded communities, blending social features with gamified dating experiences and subscription-based models.  


Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for three Senior Frontend Developers who care deeply about product performance, user experience, and business outcomes. You’ll work in one of three cross-functional squads Acquisition, Retention & Engagement, or Monetization to help grow and evolve our dating platforms.

You should thrive in fast-paced environments, be obsessed with clean, scalable code, and enjoy collaborating with designers, product owners, and analysts. Whether it’s shipping high-converting landing pages, building sticky engagement loops, or optimizing monetization funnels, your work will directly impact millions of users around the world. 


 What You’ll Own & Drive

💡 Shared Responsibilities

  • Build elegant, mobile-first interfaces using React and modern frontend tools.

  • Drive performance, accessibility, and usability improvements across the board.

  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, marketers, and backend engineers to deliver impactful features.

  • Write clean, testable, maintainable code with a focus on scalability and long-term quality.

  • Continuously review, refactor, and optimize the frontend architecture.

 Squad-Specific Focus Areas

📈 Acquisition Squad

  • Optimize conversion funnels for web, mobile web, and app.

  • Build seamless onboarding and sign-up flows that scale globally.

  • Collaborate closely with marketers, designers, and analysts to A/B test and iterate on funnels.

🤝 Retention & Engagement Squad

  • Craft features that make users come back—daily habits, gamified journeys, and more.

  • Improve core engagement loops and community mechanics.

  • Help address gender imbalance challenges through user-centric feature design.

💰 Monetization Squad

  • Build and iterate on paid subscription experiences (e.g., Boosts, Premium/VIP access, paywalls, pricing).

  • Implement in-app purchase flows and drive revenue through thoughtful UX.

  • Optimize for lifetime value while maintaining user trust and satisfaction. 


What You Need to Succeed

  • 5+ years of frontend experience in high-growth startups or product-led companies.

  • Strong expertise in React.js, Redux, TypeScript, and React Native.

  • Deep understanding of HTML, CSS (SCSS or Tailwind), and JavaScript (ES6+).

  • Solid experience in performance optimization and debugging.

  • Advocate for testing (TDD/BDD), clean code, and robust app architecture.

  • Proficiency in micro-frontends, modular design, and scalable component systems.

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with paired programming or cross-squad collaboration.

  • Passion for continuous learning, mentoring, and pushing frontend standards. 


🌟 Bonus Points

  • Experience with Node.js, Webpack, or backend tools (PHP, Go).

  • Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD and dev automation.

  • Exposure to subscription-based or social apps, especially in dating or lifestyle.

  • Contributions to open-source or active involvement in frontend communities.
